This Privacy Policy describes how NW Corp LLP, trading as NW Media ("NW Media", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal data in connection with this website (nw-corporation.com) and our internal Google Ads operations platform, NW Edge.

We are committed to protecting personal data and complying with the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This policy is written in plain English and explains, in concrete terms, what data we handle and why.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy covers personal data we process in two contexts:

Visitors to this website. Anyone who browses nw-corporation.com.
Users of NW Edge. Members of NW Media's in-house team who hold a NW Edge user account and use the platform to operate the company's advertising activity.

NW Edge is an internal-only platform. Because it is not offered to the public and does not have third-party customers, this policy does not describe customer or end-user accounts beyond NW Media's own employees and contractors.

3. Personal data we collect

3.1 Information collected from website visitors

When you visit this website, we collect a limited set of technical information automatically through our hosting provider and any analytics tools we may use:

IP address (in truncated or pseudonymised form where supported by the analytics tool used).
Browser type and version, operating system, and device type.
Referring page and the pages you view on this site.
Date and time of access.

If you contact us through any email address listed on this site, we will hold the contents of your message, your email address, and any information you choose to include in your message.

3.2 Information collected from NW Edge users

For each member of the NW Media team with an NW Edge account, we hold:

Name and corporate email address.
Role and team assignment.
Authentication credentials, stored in cryptographically hashed form.
Records of actions performed on the platform (audit logs).

3.3 Information processed via the Google Ads API

NW Edge connects to the Google Ads API to manage advertising accounts that are owned and operated by NW Media itself. The data retrieved through the Google Ads API relates to NW Media's own advertising campaigns and does not include personal data of website visitors or end customers of the businesses we advertise. We do not access, store, or process the personal information of advertising platform users (such as the identities of people who click on ads).

4. How we use personal data

We use the data described above for the following purposes:

Operating this website. Serving pages, ensuring availability and security, and understanding aggregate visitor traffic.
Responding to enquiries. Where you contact us by email, to reply to your message and keep a record of the correspondence.
Operating NW Edge. Authenticating team members, recording their actions on the platform for security and accountability, and providing them with the access they need to do their work.
Security. Detecting and preventing unauthorised access, fraud, abuse, and other activity that could harm the company or our systems.
Compliance. Meeting our legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

5. Legal basis for processing

Under the UK GDPR, our processing of personal data is justified on the following legal bases:

Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR), for the routine operation of this website, the operation of NW Edge for our in-house team, and the security of our systems. We balance our interests against your rights and freedoms and only rely on this basis where the processing is proportionate.
Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)), where the processing is necessary to administer the employment or service relationship with members of our team who use NW Edge.
Compliance with a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)), where we are required to retain records for tax, accounting, or other regulatory reasons.
Consent (Article 6(1)(a)), where you have given consent to a specific use of your data (for example, to non-essential analytics or marketing cookies if and where we use them).

We do not sell personal data. We share personal data with third parties only in the following circumstances:

Service providers. Companies that provide infrastructure and tools we rely on to operate, including our hosting provider, database provider, content delivery network, and email service. These providers act as processors on our behalf under written data-processing agreements and may only use the data to provide the services we have contracted them for.
Google. When NW Edge interacts with the Google Ads API on advertising accounts that NW Media operates, technical request data is transmitted to Google in the ordinary course of those API calls. This data concerns the advertising accounts we manage, not website visitors.
Legal and regulatory. Where we are required to disclose information to comply with applicable law, a court order, or a request from a competent regulator or law-enforcement authority.
Corporate transactions. If the company is involved in a merger, reorganisation, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to ongoing protections consistent with this policy.

7. International transfers

NW Media is established in the United Kingdom. Some of our service providers (including Google) are located outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we ensure an appropriate level of protection by relying on adequacy decisions, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

8. Data retention

We hold personal data only as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including any retention periods required by law:

Website server and analytics logs: typically retained for up to 13 months.
Email correspondence: retained for as long as it remains relevant to our relationship with you, and thereafter for our records.
NW Edge user accounts and audit logs: retained for the duration of the user's relationship with NW Media and for a reasonable period thereafter, in line with our operational and legal needs.
Records required for accounting and tax: retained for the periods required by applicable law (typically six years in the United Kingdom).

9. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include access controls, encrypted storage of credentials, encrypted transport (TLS) for connections to our systems, audit logging of platform activity, and restricting access to personal data to staff who need it for their role.

No method of transmission or storage on the internet is completely secure. If we become aware of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Information Commissioner's Office and, where required, affected individuals, in line with our obligations under UK data protection law.

10. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the following rights in respect of personal data we hold about you:

Access — to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Rectification — to have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
Erasure — to ask us to delete personal data, where one of the grounds in the UK GDPR applies.
Restriction — to ask us to limit the way we use your data in certain circumstances.
Objection — to object to processing that relies on our legitimate interests.
Portability — where processing is based on consent or contract and carried out by automated means, to receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
Withdrawal of consent — where we rely on your consent, to withdraw it at any time.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

This website uses only the cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for its operation (for example, to remember preferences set during your visit).
